Besides showing off the final Wii U controller, Nintendo also introduced the Wii U Pro Controller. This controller is being offered as an additional way to play multiplatform games, with more traditional means of control. This controller is lighter, and more suited for longer, more intense forms of gaming.
At first glance, you might mistake this controller for the Xbox 360 one. You can tell where Nintendo got their inspiration from, but you know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
I’d expect this controller to be sold separately, but hopefully I’m wrong and Nintendo will bundle/include it with the Wii console.
No price, or date of availability has been announced for this controller.
